Davis reunites with his family

Over 14 months ago, a beloved cat named Davis went missing. Not only was Davis an indoor cat, not used to spending time outdoors, but he was deaf. His owners feared the worst, when after 90-days of working with their local Humane Society there had still been no sign of Davis.

Fast forward to more than 365 days later - when Davis's pet parents got the call they had been hoping for. More than a year after he went missing, Davis' 24Petwatch microchip was scanned. He had been found after months of searching. No one is sure how he managed to travel two counties west, including across a massive body of water - they're just grateful he was found safe and sound.

The most important piece to this reunion puzzle, is that Davis was microchipped, and his owner's information was kept up to date. A microchip can mean the difference between lost and found - but it is only as good as the information attached to it.
