Step 1
Call 24PetWatch to report your missing pet. Please have your microchip identification number ready.

Step 2
A Pet Recovery Specialist will search our database and run a real time search of all animal intakes in over 500 animal welfare organizations.

Step 3
You will be immediately notified by a 24PetWatch Pet Recovery Specialist as soon as your pet is located, day or night.

Found a Pet?

Step 1
Bring the animal to your local veterinary clinic or shelter to be scanned for a microchip.

Step 2
Clinics or shelters can call 24PetWatch, regardless of the brand of microchip.

Step 3
24PetWatch will contact the pet owner. If the pet is not registered with 24PetWatch, the call will be transferred to the microchip provider.

If a pet not registered in the 24PetWatch Pet Recovery Network is reported missing, our Pet Recovery Specialists will transfer the call to the manufacturer of that pet's microchip and ensure that the call is answered successfully.

Hello 24Petwatch,

I recently had my house broken into, and among other things, my digital camera was stolen. A couple of weeks later I received a call from the police saying that they had recovered my camera from a pawn shop. They were able to track it back to me because there was a photo of my cat Barney, which displayed the yellow 24petwatch tag. The police were able to blow up the picture of the tag, identify some of the digits in the id numbers, and called 24Petwatch and were able to match it back to me.

Thank you 24Petwatch for assisting the police in their detective work. The perpetrator has been identified because of this detective work.

I think Barney is the real hero.
