- In the event of an emergency the clinic or shelter caring for your pet will contact 24PetWatch. One of our representatives will disclose your pets' medical information which can include illnesses, allergies, special dietary needs, medications, and more. All this information is linked with your pets microchipped in the 24PetWatch Database. 24PetWatch Representatives can e-mail, fax or dictate the information over the phone to the emergency personnel.

- How does EmergencyCare Work? [ click here ]
- If a good Samaritan finds your lost and injured pet, when brought to a clinic or shelter and scanned, it's microchip will reveal your pet's I. D. number. One phone call to 24PetWatch will make it known that your pet is covered by EmergencyCare. This allows the 24PetWatch representative to authorize up to $3,000 of life saving medical treatment while they are contacting you the owner.

- Once you are contacted, you will be given the name and phone number of the clinic where your pet can be located. A completed claim form along with the paid invoices showing the breakdown of the treatment should be sent to our office for processing. The fax number and mailing address is available at the bottom of the claim form.

I got a call at work saying that my dog was found wandering the neighbourhood. I thought "that's funny, I locked the door and set the alarm before I went to work". The lady on the other end at animal control said that Darby was fine but it appears that my house was broken into as my front door is wide open.
