Sales Professionals

As a result of rapid growth, PTZ Pet Insurance Agency (Brokers), Ltd.requires sales professionals. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the successful candidates will be responsible for helping the Sales Department achieve its monthly targets through call centre by way of inbound and outbound phone activity as well as direct communication about 24Petwatch Pet Insurance Programs to veterinary clinics. Exceptional customer service skills as well as knowledge concerning database administration is a necessity. Preferred candidates will have strong oral and written communication skills, be PC literate, and have 1- 3 years experience in the animal health or insurance industries. Candidates currently holding a RIBO insurance licence will be given preference. Candidates should note flexible hours may be required.

Outside Sales Representatives - Pethealth Software Solutions

We are seeking experienced, energetic, and motivated Outside Sales Representatives to generate and successfully close sales leads, respond to product information requests, and provide web-based or in-person product demonstrations of PetPoint, our web-based Animal Shelter Management Application.

Additionally, the representatives will support the sales and marketing of Pethealth’s ShelterCare accident and illness insurance for newly adopted pets and 24PetWatch microchip identification and 24/7 pet registry and recovery network.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will have 2-3 years sales experience selling to the decision-makers in a business-to-business (B2B) environment with:

• Strong closing skills with an intuitive ability to understand the concerns and needs of the client
• A proven track record of success
• The ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail while thriving in a demanding, results-driven environment
• Intermediate computers skills, including Microsoft Office
Experience working in the animal shelter, veterinary and/or within the companion animal/pet industry and the ability to work from our Chicago offices is strongly preferred.

PetPoint Technical Support / Help Desk Analyst

Our rapidly-growing company seeks an experienced, energetic, and motivated Technical Support / Help Desk Analyst to provide implementation, training, and technical support to users of our web-based Animal Shelter Management Application, PetPoint.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will have at least 1-2 years experience in supporting web-based applications with:

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot application and systems issues
  • Excellent client service skills in a demanding, deadline-driven environment

We adopted our cat from The New Haven Animal Shelter in July 2003, and named her Seabiscuit - in honor of the gritty, brave, and quirky equine hero. Seabiscuit, a five-year-old calico cat, had just weaned her beautiful litter of five at the shelter and was looking for a home. As a longtime volunteer at the shelter, I was aware of Pethealth's excellent insurance program for shelter animals and decided to get it for our new Biscuit. In retrospect, I am very glad I did. Shortly after we brought her home, Biscuit was diagnosed with asthma - then only a few months later, mammary cancer. She is doing very well now and her prognosis is excellent.
