I first heard about 24PetWatch from my neighbours (who have a dog as well), and since it is a very inexpensive program, we decided to microchip Sparrow. We wanted to protect our newly adopted pet as well as give ourselves peace-of-mind.

One evening after work, I was walking Sparrow and my neighbours' dog in the park. Sparrow was off her leash to play with the other dog when suddenly another big dog ran towards us. When Sparrow saw the big dog she got scared and ran away from my side. I called her but she was too scared and ran off very fast.

Immediately, I notified my neighbours and we all went looking for her but had no luck finding her. After two hours of searching, it started getting cold outside. Eventually, I went in the house and the phone rang. It was 24PetWatch. They found my little, brown Italian Greyhound. Apparently, a couple found her wandering and brought her to the closest animal hospital. I was so happy I think I thanked that 24PetWatch representative about a hundred times!
